Dr. Afreen Faiza completed her doctoral studies in 2019, specializing in psychometrics within the field of psychology. With a robust passion for research, she has published over 20 papers in renowned journals indexed by Scopus and JCR. Her diverse research interests include psychometrics, thanatology, theology, and various aspects of psychology, all aimed at promoting mental health and well-being.
Before embarking on her academic journey, Dr. Afreen served as an Assistant Professor and Research Associate at a private university in her home country. During her tenure, she actively engaged in teaching, mentoring students, and conducting impactful research projects. Additionally, she gained practical experience as a clinical psychologist, working in various settings for four years.
Currently, Dr. Afreen is associated with the Department of Psychology at the Institute of Applied Technology, Fatima College of Health Sciences in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In her role, she continues to make significant contributions through research, academic instruction, and guiding students in exploring the dynamic realm of psychology and its practical applications. Dr. Afreen's dedication to bridging the gap between psychology and education has positioned her as a valuable contributor in advancing knowledge and fostering well-being in the field.
