Biography

Dr. Hajjiah, born on June 12, 1973, in Kuwait, is an accomplished academic and researcher in electrical engineering. He earned his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, USA, in 1998, followed by an M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Virginia Tech, USA, in 2002 and 2009, respectively. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Kuwait University. Dr. Hajjiah has published over 90 papers in leading journals and conferences and holds two patents. His research interests include the processing and fabrication of III-V semiconductor lasers, silicon-perovskite thin-film solar cells, and tandem solar cell efficiency. He is currently engaged in projects exploring the device physics and heat generation effects in kesterite CZTSSe thin-film solar cells. Dr. Hajjiah has served as an editorial board member for several academic journals and as Associate Editor for the Journal of Engineering Research at Kuwait University (2021). He is also a dedicated reviewer for numerous national and international scientific journals.
