Dr. Andrea Bianchino is a Medical Doctor and Surgeron, Speech and Singing Specialist, expert in Vocology. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery with top honors and certified to practice in EU at the University of Ferrara (Italy). He specializes in voice care, with a particular focus on rehabilitation and teaching for speech therapists and voice instructors.
He is a Fellow at the Vocal Performance Department of West London University and Director of the Voice Evolution Institute, where he teaches in the Master’s programs on Vocal Physiology, Pedagogy, and Vocal Technique, as well as Voice Psychology, Communication, and Artist Counseling. He is the Founder of the largest voice training institute in Italy and the creator of the VES-Voice Evolution System, a methodology for voice teaching and rehabilitation.
For 15 years, he has been dedicated to teaching both spoken and singing voice. He holds an Associate Diploma and a Licentiate in Popular Music Vocals Teaching from West London University, a specialized program at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and a Fellowship Diploma in Voice from the London College of Music.
He has completed Master’s degrees in Voice Pathophysiology and Rehabilitation at the University of Naples Federico II, Clinical Audiology and Neurotology at Universidad Isabel I, Clinical Neuropsychology at Universidad Católica de Cuyo, and Chiropractic at the Ackermann Institute (Sweden).
He holds postgraduate certificates (PGCert.) in PROEL and Vocal Disorders Therapy (UIMP), Narrative Medicine (UNIMORE), Bioethics (UNIMORE), Myofunctional Vocology (UniPEG), Artistic Phoniatrics (UniCUS), Speech and Voice Disorders (UIdC), Psychosexology, Psychological Counseling (APL), and an Associate Certificate in Osteopathy (LCOHS). He has further training in Human Microbiota (UniPV), the VMS method, and Clinical Vocology (Nuova Artec). He is a certified Master Teacher in Estill Voice Training and the PROEL method, as well as a Counselor and Analogist at the Institute of Analogic Psychology, with sub-specializations in Hypnotherapy, CBT, and TBS.
He is currently specializing in Audiology and Phoniatrics at the Otorhinolaryngology, Audiology, and Phoniatrics Unit of the University Hospital of Ferrara.
He completed a three-year internship at Sant’Anna Hospital within the ORL Unit and a fellowship at the Centro de Foniatría y Logopedia in Santander. He is also a member of the PROELastic Team, an international research group focused on voice studies.
He is a member of several prestigious scientific societies, including the UEP – Union of the European Phoniatricians, The Voice Foundation as an Associate Member (since 2011), NATS – National Association of Teachers of Singing (since 2013), PAVA – Pan American Vocology Association (since 2015), MTNA – Music Teachers National Association (since 2015), and VASTA – Voice and Speech Trainers Association as a Professional Member (since 2016).
Throughout his career, he has actively participated as a speaker or scientific committee member in major international conferences such as the UEP (Union of European Phoniatricians), PEVOC (Pan-European Voice Conference), World Voice Conference, Voice Consortium, SIO (Italian Society of Otorhinolaryngology), and The Voice Foundation, among others. His involvement in these events highlights his commitment to advancing knowledge and research in the fields of voice science and phoniatrics.
