Dr. Ateeq ur Rehman is originally from Pakistan. Dr. Rehman did his Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics from the Department of Physics at Zhejiang University China in July 2013. Since Sep 2013, Dr Rehman is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan.
Dr. Rehman has particularly been studying the surfaces, interface electronic and structural properties, interface formation, and nature and strength of interaction of organic molecules with inorganic substrates. Dr. Rehman addresses his point interest by using a cluster of mature surface science techniques (UPS, AR-UPS, XPS, STM) and state-of-the-art density functional theory calculations (DFT). Dr. Rehman has presented his research findings at international conferences held in Pakistan, China, the UK, Turkey, Malaysia, and Japan. Besides, Dr. Rehman has been the reviewer of several high-impact factor journals; including PCCP and JAP just to mention. During the last several years, Dr. Rehman has been chiefly involved in developing new courses, starting new programs, teaching, administration, and research activities.
