Biography

Dr. Hanga studied in Heidelberg. After residency in Heidelberg and Düsseldorf, she did a facial plastic fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore USA (K. Boahene) in Amsterdam (GN Trenite, DJ Menger) and in Regensburg (H. Gassner). In facelift surgery trained in New York City by Andrew Jacono. After her fellowship she grounded the division facial reconstructive surgery (first division FPRS grounded by EAFPS fellow in Europe) in 2021. She is part of the organizing committee for endonasal rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery courses in Regensburg, Germany with Holger Gassner and in Davos, Switzerland AJ Tasman. She is EAFPS mentor, member of the American Board of Examination Development Committee (ABFPRS) and executive board member AACMS. In 2024 she became head of the department ORL, Head and Neck Surgery in Lienz, Austria.
