Faisal Khamis
Biography
Dr. Faisal Khamis is an Associate Professor with expertise in statistics, mathematics, and data science. He has published 30 research papers in internationally refereed journals and delivered approximately 20 presentations at international conferences. He is an Accredited Professional Statistician awarded by the American Statistical Association (ASA) and the Statistical Society of Canada (SSC). He is an active Chartered Statistician awarded by the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) and a Chartered Scientist awarded by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA), UK. Faisal Khamis is dedicated to teaching and research using computer software, as well as reviewing and supervising research projects for undergraduate and graduate students. With a Ph.D. in statistics from National University of Malaysia, Faisal Khamis continues to excel in statistics and applying data analysis tools in many fields. He has been teaching 29 different courses in statistics, data science, mathematics, operations research, software applications, and research methodology at the undergraduate and graduate levels at 18 worldwide universities/colleges in seven countries. Dr. Khamis is currently an editor-in-chief, associate editor, and reviewer for about 40 international journals. He also served on organizing, scientific, and academic committees at multiple universities. He is a Certified Publons Academy peer reviewer, UK and he is a Mentor at TRIEC, Canada.
