Hanaa Reyad Abdallah, MSc .in Pediatrics, Kasr El-Aini School of Medicine, Cairo University, PhD in Child Health and Nutrition, Institute of Childhood Postgraduate Studies, Ain-Shams University, Assistant professor of Biological Anthropology, Medical Research and Clinical Studies Institute, National Research Centre, Egypt.

Researches in pediatrics including; Child growth and development; malnutrition; obesity and metabolic syndrome, FMF, Diabetes , Gut microbiota, NAFLD, oxidative stress, autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, short stature. I have published 24 papers until now. I was the corresponding and first author in three of them. My Google Scholar's H index is 6. Number of citation is 146. I am a member in 4 Medical associations which are: - Egyptian association for the study of Liver and Gastrointestinal Diseases. - Egyptian society of Pediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes. - Arabic society for Medical research. - Egyptian Society of Bio-anthropological Sciences. I am also working on researches in children with special needs to improve their cognition and IQ making them near normal. I am also interested in Diabetes, obesity and child growth and development. Principle Investigator of project entitled: Evaluation of hepatopathy in type 1 Diabetic children and adolescents and its relation to body adiposity using Acoustic Radiation Force Impulse Imaging and assessment of Micro RNAs levels in blood. (2019-2022) Member of projects entitled: 1- The efficacy of micronutrients and Vitamin D on glycemic control and body composition among Egyptian children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus 2016-2019 2- Inflammatory and oxidative stress biomarkers among obese premenopausal women with metabolic syndrome and their role in the disease complications 2016-2019. 3- Obesity Profile among Egyptian School Children and Adolescents: Prediction and Nutritional Intervention. Duration of the project: 2007- 2010.
