Biography

Dr. Hossein Mahmoudvand is an Associate Professor of Medical Parasitology in the Lorestan University of Medical Sciences, Khorramabad, Iran. He received his Ph.D and MSc in Medical Parasitology and BSc in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the Kerman University of Medical Sciences, Kerman, Iran. He has published more than 150 international papers; whereas his main research interest is epidemiology of infectious diseases, medical parasitology and parasites & host behavior as well as application of herbal and synthetic drugs in the treatment of microbial diseases.
