Kunal
Biography
Dr. Kunal received his PhD (2014) in Biotechnology (Microbial Technology) from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab (India) and his Post-Doc from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab (India). He works as an Associate Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, and Deputy Dean (Research) at SGT University, Gurugram (Haryana). Dr Kunal has over 10 years of experience in Microbiology and allied fields of Agriculture, Environment Science and Engineering. His primary research areas are plant-microbe interaction studies, nutrient use efficiency in crop plants, microbial bio-remediation and interactions with industrial wastes. He has authored over 70 articles with a cumulative impact factor of 100+, 1500+ citations, with H-index-16, i10 index-18. He is also an editorial board member and reviewer of many reputed international journals. He is a Life Member of the Indian Science Congress Association, Association of Microbiologists of India, Microbiologists Society India, and Asian PGPR Society of Sustainable Agriculture (Auburn, USA).
