Dr. LAISHRAM SHANTIKUMAR SINGH is an Associate Professor, Microbiology at Assam down town University, Assam, India with expertise in microbial biotechnology and Medical & Clinical Microbiology. Known for Microbial Resistance mitigation strategy, Microbial bioprospecting, Dr. Laishram Shantikumar Singh is dedicated to search for novel antimicrobial agents and fight against pathogens/opportunistic pathogens, antimicrobial resistance and microbial exploration. With post graduate degree in Microbiology from Bangalore University, Bengaluru, India and PhD degree in Microbial Biotechnology from Dibrugarh University, India through research at CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, Assam, India, Dr. Laishram Shantikumar Singh continues to excel in the field of microbial biotechnology, medical & applied microbiology and worked on 4 extramural funded projects granted by Government of India as PI and Co-PI and has published more than 31 research papers in reputed journals. Has guided 42 Master’s dissertation work and 5 PhD scholars being supervised at present
