Professor Talat Magrupov received his education at the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute (Uzbekistan) in computer technology and received the qualification of an engineer.
From 1968 to 1993 he worked at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a junior, senior research fellow and head of the laboratory
In 1974 and 1984, he received the academic degrees of candidate and doctor of technical sciences at the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (Russia).
In 1989, he was awarded the title of professor.
1993-2011 - Head of the Department of "Microprocessors and Microcomputer Networks and Systems", "Instrumentation" at the Tashkent State Technical University (TSTU)
2011-2016 Professor of the Department of "Instrumentation". Since 2017, Professor of the Department of "Biomedical Engineering" TSTU. He has published over 200 articles and abstracts in foreign and national journals and conference proceedings.
Completed advanced training courses: medical and technical specialists in the use of high-tech medical equipment (GIZ-Германия), biomedical engineering (SPbGETU-Russia), International accreditation of the educational program (Belgium - ENAEE), Problems of coordination of the labor market and the education system (German Fund for International Development - Germany).
