Lim Way Foong is an Associate Professor with expertise in Advanced Materials. Known for Materials Engineering, Lim Way Foong is dedicated to contribute to high energy efficiency Electronics and Optoelectronics. With a PhD in Electronic Materials from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, Lim Way Foong continues to excel in her field of expertise, focusing on the materials engineering of rare earth/transition metal oxide materials for high dielectric constant passivation of narrow (Silicon) and wide bandgap (Silicon Carbide and Gallium Nitride) metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) based power devices, surface engineering of III (Gallium, Aluminium, Indium)- Nitrides as well as the study of hybrid organic/inorganic structures and engineering of rare earth materials for phosphor synthesis to be deployed in optoelectronics and electronics applications. She has published more than 90 publications in international refereed top-tier journals with H-index of 19 and granted with 2 patents.
