Biography

Mr. Muhammad Ari, former Member of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, an expert in petroleum law, holds an LLM, MBA and PGD in Petroleum Economics, all from UK. He has over 34 years of experience in legal, commercial and regulatory advisory for the oil and gas industry. He has authored Energy Law in Pakistan, contributed to international petroleum law publications, and numerous books and articles. Currently, he has run his own consultancy, Arif and Associates, advising on petroleum law, commercial contracts, policy, regulatory compliance and licensing affairs.
