Dr. Pongsak Rattanachaikunsopon pursued an illustrious academic journey, beginning with a B.Sc. in Radiological Technology from Mahidol University, Thailand, where they graduated with First Class Honors in 1989. They continued their academic pursuits at Mahidol University, obtaining an M.Sc. in Anatomy in 1990. Dr. Pongsak Rattanachaikunsopon then ventured to Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, USA, where they earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology in 1998. Throughout their academic career, Dr. Pongsak Rattanachaikunsopon received numerous accolades, including the Professor Sood Saengvichain Award in 1990 for Best Research and Presentation at the 13th Annual Meeting of the Society of Anatomy of Thailand, the Professor Dr. Tab Nilanidhi Foundation Award in 1991 for outstanding graduate student in Anatomy, and the distinction of Best Government Officer from The Ministry of Education in 2014. Their academic journey was supported by scholarships from various institutions, including the Science and Technology Development Board for their M.Sc. program and the Ministry of University Affairs, Thailand, for their Ph.D. program. Dr. Pongsak Rattanachaikunsopon has also contributed significantly to academia through their teaching roles, starting as a Lecturer at Rungsit University, Thailand, in 1992, and progressing to become a Professor at Ubon Ratchathani University, where they currently serve in the Department of Biological Science, Faculty of Science. Additionally, they served as a member of the Academic Council Committee of Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University from 2018 to 2020.
