Professor Quirino Piacevoli is a distinguished expert in the fields of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, and Health Economics, currently serving as the Chief of the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at San Filippo Neri Hospital in Rome, Italy. He is also the president of the World SIVAS Society of Anesthesia. Professor Piacevoli has a robust academic background, holding two Master's degrees in Health Economics—one from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, and another from the National Academy of Medicine in Bologna, Italy.
In addition to his clinical and administrative roles, Professor Piacevoli is deeply involved in academia. He serves as a professor at the School of Specialisation in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at both Cosenza University and the Faculty of Medicine at the Campus Biomedico in Rome.
